Recently got a small Flashforge printer and enjoying figuring out how 3d printing works. Would like to get something with a little bigger bed if possible, so I can print bigger thingies.

I’d probably not part with mine either if I had one... if you are happy to go with Creality I suggest you wait a little, they released a new model which is supposed to be a replacement to the Ender, an Ender v2 if you will, www.3dunique.co.za claim they will have in stock soon, some more info should you be interested:

There was one sold earlier this year by @MSI1104 and I wish I could borrow a Delorean to go back in time and buy it. But if I don't find one, that's OK. Creality make some great devices and I'd like to give a few of them a try.

I will probably get myself a new Ender 3 Pro SE in any case once there is stock again in RSA, but if the Ender V2 turns out better I'll give that a go. At the moment I'm trying to acquire a used CR-10s Pro (not V2), just have to figure out a way to ship it safely.

Nice I have a Ender 3 Pro and i have no complaints except the fact that its noisy as hell but I plan on installing a SKR with Trinamic drivers as well as some Noctua fans to quiet her down..,,I upgraded to a Swiss Micro all metal hot end today and the results are amazing, even stock these printers print quality is exceptional for the price and in all honesty I do not think a Prusa will be miles ahead in quality... but I still want one anyway...... anyway's mate good luck finding your next 3D printer and u find a MK3 u better grab it fast or else i will......

Oooh, I was able to secure a Creality CR-10s Pro, not V2. She is on her way!
The kit to upgrade the leveling system to the same as the Pro is about R900.

Meanwhile, the Flashforge is burning some filament as I type this. I went overboard on buying filament and have waaaaay too much now

You can never have enough filament... lol... nice one the CR10s pro hope you get it soon so you can burn through that filament faster... the auto bed leveling is nice but only really helps if you have a warped bed, I fitted a BL Touch to my Ender and took it off because the standard end stop switch was just as effective as the bl touch is on a glass bed, not to mention when you are in a rush and start a print and want to make sure the first layer is good... boom the ABL kicks in and the wait begins... it’s not that bad but feels like it takes forever sometimes. Anyway gotta get back to my lockdown filament scraps and melt some plastic...

Thanks! I did PM him on the day he posted. He asked for my number, I gave it and haven't heard of him since.

Also, shipping that thing down is gonna suck. And it isn't the MK3s, so I would have to get the upgrade kit from Prusa. Also doesn't have the powdercoated springsteel plate, but instead the smooth PEI plate.

Nothing wrong with the printer at all. If I was in JHB I would probably be playing with it right now.
