Just a personal opinion, i still have my Logitech Z5500's i use them in the living room, the bass is a lot boomier/loose and the mids are weak. the Z906 is definitely the better sounding of the two accuracy wise. If you want just pure Bass, high volume land ow mids then try get the Z5500. If you are looking for a slightly better accurate/quality sound with tighter bass (specially if you are a metal fan) then go for the Z906 :)

Yep. Z-5500 is very bass heavy. But paired with a good sound card and some tweaking, it’s pretty darn good!

Had a good sound card, it is still very boomy and not tight, its just the way the bass port is designed. But yeah might get some tweaking improvement. I prefer the Z906 since i have gotten older, younger days i would have chosen the Z5500 (Party). Quality over quantity for me now, hence going the studio monitor route.

Have you checked your PM? I am very interested in these speakers.
