Lian Li Uni Fans, will anyone be stocking these anytime soon?

I've been waiting for what feels like forever for them to land on our shores, thank you so much Rona you bastard..
Is anyone going to bring them in? Sweet mother these things look amazing, really love the snap on / single cable approach.
Especially taking into account the controller (RGB + Power) connects to a USB 2.0 header so for someone like me that does not have an ARGB header, it's a 10/10!

Hey man, no I stopped looking long ago. Guess we will get them on day. Probably for the best as I was looking to upgrade case / fans / cables which would have set me back quite a bit :p

So sad.....I've been looking for ages as well but suppose we (as always in SA) will have to wait patiently at the back of the line!

BUMP !

Many months later and still nothing locally available, this makes me a very sad panda :(
Really thought these would be requested like hot cakes due to the daisy-chain magic!

and now the ALs are coming

think it is because of their price tag

I have askes a number of our online spots and the same reply...."We have requested from our supplier."

Very sad for us in SA.

Surely it cannot be the price of the fans, as both the Corsair QL's and those Thermaltake Riiiiiiiiiiiing fans are more expensive?
@Oj0 any chance you can shed some light? I figured, if anyone can get them it might be you haha.

Is this simply a case of none of the local suppliers get them in because we live in the ass-end of the world?

I got feedback from them last year already. They're not coming to SA.

There is only one supplier for Lian Li, and they're concentrating on their other brands for fans. They do have a few Lian Li fan SKUs, but won't bring in the Unifan even if I place an order for 100.

Noted! Thanks for at least confirming and putting an end to this waiting and hoping game :p

FML, guess it's Corsair QL's or bust. Case closed!

They're listed but not yet in the country. Lian Li is brought in 1-2x per year and there is no ETA for them to arrive. I, too, have them listed, but no use punting them if they're as much as a year away.

High markup, and not available locally yet.

Frontosa is the re-supplier unfortunately, so you can't buy it directly from them.
I've never heard of a re-supplier before

Oh I didn't know that haha. Oh yeah sorry, I meant they are the supplier, but not the seller haha. Yeah I guess the markup is high. I am lucky as I get the markup price down usually, because I know the owner personally. Although the unifans are not available, the other Lian Li fans are, and they are much less expensive.

Yet I can pull a couple of strings possibly to get them here. I must probably just be sure that people would buy them before I put in the request for the fellow carbies who are interested. You know what, I'll ask the oom tomorrow for all of you ;)
This forum has been nice and the people have been kind, this is my chance to be like that back to the community as well : )

The UNI Fan AL120 is coming - it's just a matter of when. It might be 2 months, it might be 12 months. You can't speed up the process unless you're going to front the bill for an additional order (it's a few $10k, and will require cases, coolers, fans, etc - Lian Li won't process an order of just 100 packs of fans or something, trust me, I tried to get an additional shipment done, my R 40k was laughed at hard).

Yeah, I understand, but then again, the computer shop has a few partnerships with brands like Intel, I am sure they can get something done.
As the famous saying goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way"

He has more than one supplier that can get the stuff, trust me. I even saw there was a sale on some of their cases haha. Lian Li seems like huge bang for your buck, as their quality does not disappoint.

is that the reason why this has been out of stock for so many many months?

Bad example as Intel is the easiest company to partner with - you don't even have to sell their products. To become an Intel member you watch videos and answer questions based on those videos.

I have partnerships with AMD, MSI, NZXT, Cooler Master, NVIDIA, Gigabyte, Corsair and several more. None of that helps me get Lian Li fans.

Yes, where there is a will there is a way. If you have endless funds to throw at it, you can become the Lian Li distributor. I'm sure you can get the distribution rights if you commit to spending a few $ 100k per year with them. Where there is a will there is a way sounds good on paper, in practice it clearly isn't always feasible.

If he has more than one distributor, the other is likely Amazon or NewEgg or something similar as there is only one Lian Li distributor in Africa. With that being the case, good luck to anyone who buys them, as Lian Li doesn't have a BRILLIANT reputation for fans lasting their warranty duration, and it's going to cost the customers a small fortune sending the fans back internationally.

is that the reason why this has been out of stock for so many many months?
Correct, along with the rest of the GALAHAD coolers, the Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL black or white, most of the LANCOOL range, the TU150 with tempered glass side panels, the STRIMER power cables, etc
