What happened to the DVI? Why not just get a cheap DVI to HDMI adapter?

The monitor never came with a DVI port.

I have been using a DVI to VGA on this monitor, but I have gone through 2 adapters dying on me and its starting to add up now.

Also, need to save to eventually grab a gaming monitor later this year.

Depending on if you're going 144Hz or just 60Hz, I'd recommend looking out for a Dell SE2717H 75Hz Freesync monitor. Has HDMI input and fantastic monitors for the prices you can find them on carb.

Also, it's an IPS panel so great colours!

Funny thing.

I actually had 2 SE2717H monitors, which I sold to purchase this current U2717D 1440p Dell monitor.

Its absolutely amazing, and I would to get a matching 1440p dell dell gaming monitor.. later this year.. (Busy eyeing the S271DG)
Also got tired of the 1080p and 1440p different sizing on side-by-side montiors
