Working parts:

- 2.5" 1TB HDD pre-loaded with activated fresh Win10 Home (You will really want to install an SSD, though)
- Quad core CPU Intel Core i7-4700MQ
- Onboard GPU Intel HD 4600 (Mobile 1.15 GHz)
- Dedicated GPU GeForce GT 755M
- 1366 x 768 HD screen
- 16GB DDR3 RAM
- 2.4 ghz WiFi
- 3x USB ports
- Ethernet port
- HDMI port
- Working microphone
- Working but poor quality speakers
- Actually an okay keyboard, even if it looks terrible
- Touchpad works but is not great. I'll throw in a cool RedDragon mouse for free
- Working battery
- Working power adapter

Broken parts:
- DVD drive
- DVD drive cover is supported by tape
- Webcam connection is wonky, it disconnects when the laptop lid is moved
- Headphone jack not functional
- Keyboard cover is not present
- VGA port (HDMI is fine)
- A screw is loose on the inside

I went through university with this thing. I used it when I was moving and didn't have a desktop. It served me well through two jobs, which involved running VMs and or multiple IDEs. This thing has carried me through rocky times. I did mythic raiding in World of Warcraft with it. It has climbed Table Mountain with me. It has toured the German countryside, and even trained with Yoda on Dagobah (okay that one is not so true). It has served me well. But it refuses to sit idle any longer.

Maybe you have a family member who needs a laptop for work, or you yourself have some use for The Trooper's impressive CPU and RAM (given its age).
I hope it serves the next person as well as it did me.

My dad is still running one of these, got him a replacement battery a year or so back to outlast loadshedding. Truly a trooper lappy, GLWS.
