So this is a bit of a weird request but i purchased an IBM/Lenovo X3640 M4 about 5 months ago and between work and varsity i have not been able to get it up and running again. It seems to be indicating some sort of memory initialization error. I am very comfortable with consumer hardware but this was supposed to be my foraying into learning about the enterprise space, and it seems to have failed miserably thus far.
I am hoping there is a carbie out there, preferably in Durban who could assist me in getting the server running as I pretty much have no idea what I'm doing and am my wits end.
I had hope to upgrade it a bit and as a scientist utilize a portion of it for research as we as running VM's and docker and etc.
I know it is a lot to ask but If anyone with knowledge with these machines could please reach out I would be immensely grateful.
Regards
