I want to install LED strips behind the TVs and monitors in the house. I've found a few sellers (Takealot and brick and mortar) which sell either the pre-cut 2m strips, or 5m strips (which need a separate PSU and controller), however the pricing is high and they also don't have all the accessories (L-shaped connectors, extenders, etc).

Is there a decent local source for this now that importing from aliexpress is not an option?

Go to any local China Mall around you. Plenty. Cheap cheap. Discount especially for you.

Maybe @Fox22743 can help.
Thanks for the mention bro. I'm going to answer as PC Rescue as that is my business account.

@VladM yes you can get the stuff at Chinese malls like @Hey bud said. Many of them do carry the L-shape connectors that you want.

I do carry the L-shape connectors and also the USB RGB strips, but I'm quite low on all stock though. My quality is better than most of the ones you find at the Chinese shops and Takealot, but it also means that it'll pull a lot more power and usually that means not being able to run very long strips off USB ports.

If you wanna use the AC power route, I have plenty (and I mean plenty) 12v RGB strips at good prices and also better quality than most others locally. Let me know what you want. Prices are on my LED thread, but we can speak about bulk pricing (DIY) should you wish to go that route

I'm looking for 12V as I don't think I'll get the intensity I need with 5V (some of the TVs are not wall mounted). Please link me to your thread?

Just get yours from @PC Rescue

I've bought a few strips over the past few years and the quality is top notch.

Try China mall. I've used plenty of their RGB lighting strips over the years in different builds. Comes with remote and controller. I'll try find a pic or a link for you

Same ones from the same guy I got mine from before. He is on Facebook as Gadget Boss. These have 4 separate light strips which works well behind a tv etc. You just need a 12v adapter to replace the lighter socket one that's on there.
