Where on this continent can i find this type of led strip WS2812B 60led/pm that doesnt cost R180+ per meter?

Im still on my endaevor of getting this done. got the board programmed just cant seem to find the led strips at a decent price, if anyone knows where or can send a link to someone/somewhere that would be much appreciated

I am trying, the problem is this- the semiconductor industry is a clusterfuck at the moment

Not sure if this is the same thing or if it would even work, struggling to figure out what the difference is in SMD5050 and ws2812 as far as i can see ws2812 is the IC used and smd5050 is how the led is put together? this is so confusing

The WS2812 is an LED with an integrated controller chip that is controlled by a serial data stream

The item on Takeashit's website, is probably one of those cheapie Chinese jobbies where there is a common cathode and three colour lines R, G, B

So definitely NOT the same

Hello, in Johannesburg there's a few big China Malls, and i know the one close to Krugersdorp has a big shop that only works with LEDs, lights and electronics and you can find these strips there, i haven't been there in a few years but the price was something like R65 per meter.
Im not sure if the China mall in Cape Town will have the same stuff, but Cape Town tend to be a bit more pricy when it comes to well, anything at all. You can also try ACDC, ( ACDC Dynamics Online ) check online to get the code and you can phone or email them.
