Item: Alternator* (I assume its Heavy duty since its definitely not the same size as ones in cars more likely a bus alternator)
Age: Unknown
Warranty: None
Condition: It's an alternator, may have slight rust*
Location: Fourways, JHB
Shipping: Definitely recommend against since its very heavy*
*Pics will follow as soon as possible but it's a large heavy alternator.
Can even be used as free weights to exercise with
Or (although it will be a waste) you can strip out the copper, melt the metal, up to you.
Hopefully someone can use it for DIY projects, I've been too busy.
BUT (it's already against the rules) please don't take this thinking of reselling it, especially as scrap metal.
I dont know the exact value of it but it could be anywhere in the range of R300 - R3000 or more. Maybe another carbie can estimate from the pics.
So perhaps I'll need some clarification of what you want to do with it since: "it's still up to the guy who posted the PIF to give it to whoever he wants though."
If there's no interest by month end i'll replace this pif with something else.
