Our amazing team at Fresh Fix is looking for a Kitchen Manager to assist and oversee the day to day running of the kitchens processes.
We are looking for someone who works well with time constraints and is able to manage difficult situations and overcome them. This person should also be tough but fair as every item needs to be scrutinized. The candidate should also demonstrate a high level of quality control and attention to detail. Good knowledge of cooking and kitchen instruments is very important
Own car and valid driving license is a must. You may use your car up to 20km per day but this will be reimbursed.
Duties:
Ensure Stock is sufficient for the following day.
Filing paperwork and purchases invoicing.
Ordering and possibly collecting stock.
Day end purchasing reconciliation.
Daily Duties:
Ensure food is prepared according to the Fresh Fix Policy and the clients specifications.
Deliveries are on time.
All drivers return timeously.
The working space is clean according to the Fresh Fix Cleaning Policy.
No formal training required but you must show the qualities of a good communicator and be able to control and manage 6 staff members.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 18:00pm and Sunday 10:00am 17:00pm.
The position is available immediately and is located in Rynfield Benoni. You will be given training before you start so that you understand the processes and efficiencies required by this kind of business. Remuneration is negotiable but will be in the range of a general kitchen manager although the opportunity to grow within the company is immense.
