Keyboards for typing

Do you folks have any recommendations on affordable keyboards for typing?
I type out a shit load of sql every day and my laptops keyboard has started to go spazzy and boss doesn't want to buy a new laptop (or have current one repaired).
So I am looking for something like a mechanical keyboard, preferably wireless. Backlighting is completely optional.
Just want something that has brown switches or equivalent (blues are too loud for a office).

Get a blue switch mech, tell the boss it's the only option you had.

But seriously, any modern keyboard is OK. I recommend one without macros and other "extra" keys to the side as it stuffs up your point of reference. I'm in the same boat right now, I'm a bit over membrane and I need a new, good-working kb&m for the office.

I tested out my Claymore I have at the office the day I got it.
Everyone's sanity lasted all of 1 hour before they nicely asked me to put it away .
Something about not being able to hear clients on the phone over the sound of my keyboard.
Open plan office and all that.

Hmm. Actually this might work.
Maybe I can convince him I need one of the new-ish ROG laptops with a 1060 6gb gpu and 16gb ram etc.
Well that or they try and survive the noise xD
