Let me start by saying - now I fully understand the whole buzz around Ducky keyboards. They live up to the expectations in my opinion but that being said, I am a keyboard lover.
It is my first time experiencing Cherry MX Silent Red and I must say, they have a nice touch and sound feedback. I have also installed o-rings on the keycaps.
First impressions, the Ducky is lighter and thinner than my DK61 Pro. But I feel that the case of the Ducky is more flimsy compared to my DK61 Pro. If you flex it, you can hear a plastic crunch if I can explain it like that. You do not experience that when typing but it was something I noticed. Keycaps feel way more premium than my DK61 Pro. Felt it right off the bat when I started typing.
What I also love about the Ducky is the ability to change the location of the FN key by adjusting the dip switches on the back. That allowed me to remap the arrow keys exactly the same as on my DK61 Pro, making my transitions between the keyboards so much easier.
Overall I am happy with my purchase of the keyboard, thanks to Carbonite, and it is currently my daily driver while I will be using the DK61 Pro for work (currently typing this message with it).
