Hey all,

So I just got this beast from @M_L

I am struggling to find a Vesa mount adjustable arm.
I want to do a similar setup to the link below but with the big screen above it and tilted, but would love to be able to pull the screen to the side of the other screen, hence the adjustable hydraulic arm or something. If it can't be done due to the wait, I will stick to a fixed wall method but any suggestions would be great.
I have a 27" Dell screen also and I want to mount this screen above it, something like this.

Anyone have any suggestions or how to go about this?

No suggestions at all?

Where is everyone?

I would mount the 43" below the 27". Arms for the 27" is readily available.

I know right? xD

Problem is the 27" is a 144hz g-sync screen I use for gaming :p put myself in a bit of a pickle.

The 43" is for the streamlabs/obs and browser etc

You want to mount the 43" above, correct?

Then just do it! :D

Problem solved, thread closed

Oh no.

Here's a few Amazon options - not sure of the local stuff.

Most of them look like swing arms. The hydraulic vertical and horisontal moving arms are mostly for smaller monitors.

Why does this monitor have to be so massive :p Thanks, I guess I will need to look at TV mounts xD

My 2c, put the screen you will be looking at the most as close to eye-level as possible. It's going to kill your neck/back if you are having to look up at sharp angle all the time. At use a 20" with a 19" above it (mounted only on the bottom 2 vesa mount holds) and a portrait 23" on the side and I've had issues with this combined with bad posture.

And then mount the other screen directly on the wall.

great input! thanks :D I will be running only a 2 monitor setup. the 27" for gaming which will be in my face. Wanted the 43" for lots of info, just so I can glance at the stream chat and make sure the stream is running well etc. So I will mount it above the 27"

Lmao xD I'll just slap it right on there
:ROFLMAO: there are plenty monitor / TV mounts. Im sure you will manage

But I agree with runners , you are going to need a neck replacement in a few years if you keep looking up at that short distance.

I also dont think there is an ARM big enough that would allow you to move the one screen out the way and make way for the smaller screen.

Can you not mount it next to the 27"?

But i want dem fancy transformer arms...

So... I tend to be like half laying in my chair at time xD

Yeah there isn't so I will probably just have it next to the 27" but I wanted that space for.... stuff

How much space is there from your chair to the wall?

If you are around 1.5m away from the wall then I think mounting it above would be fine. The neck angle will be much better
Use a standard TV monitor mount, just make sure it has a tilt feature

FIRST PRIZE would be to build the monitor into a desk so that it faces up. Lay some protective glass over it and so that it is under your keyboard.
BOOM glance down to see info

Unless you plan on seeing the monitor form the other side of the room

about 1.5m. I will definitely go with your advice then :D

hahaha you are making me think of Mr Price with their fancy monitors under glass thing they do.
Next we will have people mount the TV on the ceiling above their bed to watch tv while they sleep xD

You put a mirror just above the your keyboard tilted, easy fix

lol exactly. 19" Tv mounted in the bathroom so you can watch reruns of friends while taking a dump. The dream!

My desk is already glass, going to mount a small LCD panel inside facing up to display PC temps etc.
