Sometimes sounding like a countdown timer and seeing the CD-Rom amputate my left leg, other times it cries cos Spyro took at the power. This whole build is a hand-me down, all of it. Its 6 years old but I suspect even older as the CPU is from some older office PC. This still works, but its time to let her go.

The worst is trying to game with a pretty much entry level old laptop because you love gaming so much and are THAT desperate! But there's no worse a feeling when you see those awful words "does not meet minimum specifications".... One day the dream is to be all blinged out and show the boys in CoD just what girl power really is!

I was jamming some Overwatch with some friends. I had a drink placed on the side of the desk next to my keyboard and at some point I had knocked my drink over onto my keyboard, so I proceeded to take my headset off, leaving my chair in a rush to go get cleaning supplies to salvage my keyboard. I gave my keyboard a good clean, managing to save it, after which I returned to my chair. Upon sitting down, I felt something on the chair, just then realising that I had sat down onto my headset which I had placed on the chair in a hurry when trying to save my keyboard. Needless to say, my headset did not survive this ordeal as it broke upon me sitting on it. I offered a prayer to my headset and laid it to rest. I then decided to continue playing Overwatch after making my team wait while I was dealing with my urgent situation. I continued to play Overwatch without a headset and my team decided to play comp. Whilst playing comp, we were nearing the end of the match which was the deciding point to determine the outcome and my graphics card decided to crash on me, leaving me with a black screen (This happens randomly as I think the graphics card is failing), forcing me to force shutdown and reboot my machine, leaving my team with one man down ultimately costing us the game. By the time I got my system back up and running again, I was unable to rejoin the match as it had already ended. To further add insult to injury, Blizzard suspended me from playing comp for a period of time as they thought that I had voluntarily left the match.

This in all was definitely a Series Of Unfortunate Events.

My worst moment gamin on this system came earlier this year when I was playing Resident Evil 2 remake with over-ear headphones late at night. I'm a 32 year-old man with a wife and kids and nope'd out of that game so quick because I was chicken-$#[email protected]

I don't technically own a gaming pc since I've been gaming on my dad's pc whenever I get the chance, and when I do play I feel bad cause it's in their room and I feel like I'm intruding in their space.
My worst gaming moment I think when the pc didn't want to switch on one day when I wanted to start a gaming sesh. Kinda made me panic a bit se I knew it would be my fualt if it was broken. Turns out there just wasn't enough cooling gel on the cpu so I got that sorted. Still gave me a big scare.

I can't get this to load so I'll leave this here for now till I figure something out.

My worst experience, was playing Alien Isolation late at night with headphones on, and almost jumping through the roof when the Alien sudfenly appeared, knocking my cup of coffee all over myself, my keyboard and my mouse. Luckily my laptop was spared, but that was the end of my gaming for the night lol. Needless to say, I had sticky keys until I could get a new keyboard and mouse lol.

My worst gaming experience so far was playing Ark: Survival Evolved and I was happily building a nice base when for some reason the game glitched and thousands of creatures spawned in my base. Needless to say the graphics card could not handle it. The game lagged, crashed, and then the laptop shut itself off and didn’t turn on again and I had to take it in for repairs.

This is my setup, running off of a Lenovo Legion laptop. Been happy with it being my first ever system that can actually run games and also support graphic design software.

I gave myself a massive scare a while back when I messed up a BIOS update and thought I'd bricked my PC. Would not boot even though I tried to reinstall the BIOS several times, what eventually did it was rolling back to the previous version and then being able
to boot again and do the update properly. Thank goodness my MoBo has the option to update BIOS via USB and button on the back.

Worst gaming experience was definitely when I went on a five game losing streak in ranked and got the classic ghost/cleanse Nunu combo in game number six because I refused to give up midlane. Uninstalled immediately after that one and haven't looked back since.

My worst gaming moment was when I was playing GTA V with some friends, and every time I went into a new place like go to the mountains or go where there is a lot of buildings. My frames will always die and I would disconnect or lag. This happens to some of the games that I play. When I play Apex Legends and I get into a fight and I always lag and die.

My specs are i3 2100, 6gb ddr3, GTX 650 Ti BOOST
This pc is more than 8 years old. I got this from someone and this is my first Ok pc.

"What is your worst PC gaming moment with your current set-up?"

Well, there have been countless ones! Firstly, having to have to put all setting on "low" so that a game can actually run (but that doesn't mean that it is playable!) is a big deal, so with that being said, I was jamming some Spintires with my SO, just casually transporting some logs around and cruising, but it wasn't hard to ignore the fact that I was a significant distance away from him, despite the fact that we were in the same vehicle supposedly driving the same speed, so why you may ask? I'm sure you already know the answer: LAG LAG LAG AND MORE LAG. Not an internet connection problem, just an old outdated 2nd gen i7 problem.

Built this semi ROG setup myself about a year ago 😀

But since about 2 weeks ago something I can’t seem to find with testing and diagnostics is starting to fail in my machine. All my games lag and stutter with reasonably high FPS., have tried every test, fix and setting in the book to try identify it with no success.😭

I play in the upper division of the DGL CSGO league in SA, and my worst moments by far have been in the last two weeks, not being able to perform and feeling like i am failing my team in official matches due to my system failing.🥺

GL HF 🤗

I have a low spec machine, just don't have the funds to upgrade, the only game I can play with friends is CSGO, but then they want to play COD, which I can't, so I'm left on my own.
It's sad and lonely. Think that's the worst, feeling like the kid who can't play with the other kids.
I tried to put a card I had from like 8 years again in, A GTX640, had to cut the casing to fit the card in, that's the best I could do to make it a bit faster.
The screen is crappy as the color seems off, think the lcd is giving in.

My worst gaming experience is pretty much every time I want to play my favourite game, Battlefield 5. The game kills my pc and I get average fps of around 44. I basically cant engage in any pvp as it is unplayable for me.

As someone who plays alot of siege , where the entire lobby of 10 players have to wait for everyone to finish. My pc is capable of loading the game quickly , but every now and then my pc just decides to load a full 10 minutes and i have to leave the game in order to not have to let everyone wait for me. So this is more a re-occuring pain than a once off.

For the last year, I can't game without crashing to BSOD. Thankfully MS Office and Firefox still work.
Running older games would be lower graphics. So to give my worst experience, playing a game of Stellaris with friends, the match was going onto its 16th hour with us having to leave and reload the save every 20 minutes because it was so much to compute that our PC's and lines had to manage all of that (Literally 10 minutes just to lead in everyone 1 at a time). Have an older entry-level GPU fps drops to 1 or 2 were consistent and the game was crashing because it was just so much going on. It became unbearable and unplayable, will never know how that game ends.
The pc also disconnects the audio drivers and USB randomly which makes working on it a pain as well.

My pc isn't too bad just some ageing and cheaper parts letting me down.

Be me.
Playing CS:GO with my friends.
My friends and I start on the terrorist side of Dust 2.
I am the IGL.
Being the tactical genius that I am, I call the incredibly difficult strategy "Rush B my friends, don't stop" (russian accent).
I am in the front.
CTs flash tunnel and we all blind.
My keyboard dies, we all get stuck at the tunnels, and we all die.
"Who blocked at the front?"
"Think I got blocked by (name of one my friends) in front of me."
mfw I got my friends killed in CS:GO :(
mfw I assigned the blame to my friend ;)

To be honest, these moments individually aren't the worst. Its the high frequency of these moments, however, that make these moments really painful.

Link below for pics of my desk setup (apologies with quality of the pics, old smartphone):

I'll try to keep it as short as possible, this bit is important as it leads up to my worst gaming experience: So we had a power outage back in Feb due to a cable break while I was busy gaming, ok fast forward 6-7 hrs later they fixed it and I go to turn on my pc to jam some games, but 10min in I start to get the whiff of burning plastic, not knowing what is taking place inside my chassis. My pc then suddenly shuts down on its own and refuses to boot back up. I remove the power cord and open the side panel and see a little white smoke coming from my psu (was one of those off brand psu's), I then pin pointed where the plastic smell was coming from and it turns out its my cpu 4 pin that got fried. Long story short I then ended up having to sell my gtx 750ti so I could replace my mobo and psu and ended up having to go with a gt 730 until I could save up for a better gpu, which brings us to my worst gaming experience that now I cannot for the life of me get more than 26+ fps on low settings in my favourite game and with this covid-19 i may have to wait a little longer than expected before I can upgrade. Thanks for taking the time to read my abnormally long post and I do hope I didn't put you to sleep

Please see pics attached.

Worst moment was when I upgraded my setup CPU, RAM,Motherboard, PSU (Got some better RAM, new chassis and Graphics card since then), I booted up no problem, then as soon as I would launch any game it would crash, wen't through all the troubleshooting steps no spare DDR4 Ram so couldn't test that with different RAM. Machine would crash as soon as I launched a game to a point of corrupting Windows so it wouldn't boot, suspected Faulty motherboard, SSD, CPU, PSU, reloaded PC about 10 times that night trying to get up and running to play games with my brother (built him a PC with the parts that came out of my machine) ended up being an issue due to a faulty RAM module out the package, very frustrating, ended up getting the Ram switched out the next day and was able to play that evening, just to add to the frustration that night my brothers PC everything ran perfectly as soon as he switched on so he was playing games while I couldn't, at my house....

Current setup is the wifes setup (I has no PC had to sell my setup to marry wify) plsss help my gaming addiction 🙏

Worst thing that happen to my previous setup was that I was cleaning it out and after putting it back together realizing I has RGB now:unsure:(never had RGB in the setup), well the orange RGB was my HDD SATA cable that was on fire😐

So currently I have no setup, saving to buy a dream PC like this.:D

Well, actually me and the wife had a crap few months.

You can check my signature on the great PSU blowup. Lost a GTX970 and motherboard.
And since the backup motherboard only supports 1333RAM, RAM speed is downgraded. And since the board is an ATX and not MATX, the case is gone too :(

My wife laptop screen has gone booboo as well as the trackpad.
And she broke the dongle on her keyboard/mouse set (probably the 1 year old).

So I am lucky i have a PC that can run most games. I recently acquired this low budget mini ITX pc, I enjoy it having been a pc gamer for over 10 years i ran into some financial difficulties to pay for my studies , so i sold my 1080ti build and then bought this Mini ITX build. So when it arrived i did what I always do as i don't trust second hand buys, I took the box apart component by component and rebuilt it again. I have always been a fan of a bigger bulkier box as i feel the airflow is just not enough in a mini ITX, to keep a long story short, the fact that I decided to add a few new RGB fans to my box to increase the air flow and try and put lipstick on the turd i have purchased. I end up connecting the LED to the incorrect pins on the board and blow all the new LEDS lights on the fans Bar 1 that wasn't connected yet and was still in the box. Not my best moment.

Cant upload pic for some reason, Please find the link to the picture below
