Putting out a very hesitant and very tentative feeler out for my beloved 2015 Jeep GC. I absolutely love driving this car, but as I take stock of my life and the fact that I've just bought a new place, I am considering reducing my monthly expenditure. This provides the rare opportunity for someone to capitalise on my frugality and take over this beaut.

Was last serviced by Jeep in August, just had 4x brand new Goodyear Wrangler AT tyres put on and still drives like a dream.

Yes they have. They actually increased their online assessment after viewing and taking into account the extras.

Okay, I've given CMH 14 days to sell this vehicle to give peace of mind to private buyers and an opportunity to those who want to finance the purchase.

The vehicle will be sold for R349,900 but will have a full AA roadworthiness and diagnostics inspection done before you take ownership and the vehicle will be invoiced out by the dealership to you/your bank.

No problem. There are a couple buyers lined up but nothing concrete yet. Was in there today so the guy could take a video for a Joburg buyer. He'd be happy to send you the vid as well I'm sure if you're keen.

Fuel consumption was better than I thought it would be - I get 12.5l/100km on a mixed cycle, which is win when you consider the diesel does 10-11 anyway. Was expecting closer to 15. (which you can easily get to in Sport mode [emoji16])

Lol I had a 4L V6 Navara that was a permanent 5km/l, so this isnt too bad at all. Driving a 320d beemer which is ridiculously economical, so it will be quite a change, but now I am considering the Jeep as my daily runner. Will keep you posted once I've chatted to the dealer. She is stunning though so I hope we will be having a good conversation

Found another vehicle that I'm interested in. Price drop (still invoiced by dealer with finance available) to R329,000 for this week only with full AA roadworthy & diagnostics test done.

Trustworthy cash buyer can take it for R315,000 but this won't be done via the dealer then.

Okay update: Vehicle went for the full Dekra AA and roadworthy test yesterday. It's been noted that the vehicle has been painted, which I was unaware of.

It's been checked extensively for structural damage and signs of panel beating but there's none of that (other than the front right fender mentioned in my post) so we believe that it is paint only, probably for scratch removal or some such.

In light of this, though, I'm dropping my cash sale price to R299k not neg for this week only. This is the final drop or I just keep it as it's a ridiculous price for a great car.

If you want to finance it, price at dealership will be R319k.

I will provide the full Dekra report to anyone who wants it on request. PM me with email address. The vehicle is mechanically sound and no issues have been picked up in this regard.

Because when they did their first inspection I didn't have my spare key or my settlement letter with me. The next time I did a quotation with them they dropped their price to R280k with no reasons given so obviously I declined.

Any more burning questions?
