I originally bought it from Takealot Dec 2018. I hardly used it, probably used it 20h until last year, it never left my bedside table. Had not used it since last year. When I tried it in Jan the left earbud was dead. Tried charging/resetting it etc but it was dead. It was out of warranty . After reading about known issues I thought the battery had died so I opened it (it took ages). I then realised it will be hard to get hold of the specific battery (not impossible though). So I thought I'll try to lodge a warranty claim Jabra.com. They sent it to the local distributor Circuit City. Even though it was out of warranty they sent me a free left earbud replacement (I had to pay for the courier). Turns out there was a fault with it, it would only connect with the right hand earbud if within 10 cm of each other or if it kind of hanged out of my left ear! So I contacted Circuit City again and they send me a brand new pair (no courier charge this time). Problem solved. In the mean time I've decided to sell it as I really don't use it. It doesn't have a warranty but if it were to fail I'll give you the email chain of my claim and you can follow up and see if they will replace it again.
So in this deal you're getting FIVE earbuds (see pic below for numbers):
- New left and right earbuds (#4 & #5)
- Fully working original right earbud (#2)
- Dodgy replacement left earbud (#3)
- Opened original left earbud (#1)
Includes 6 new ear tips.

Can I use just one of my Jabra earbuds?
Yes, you can use the right earbud alone for mono playback of music or calls. Use your connected mobile device to control the volume and track.
You cannot use the left earbud alone because it connects only to the right earbud—not to the mobile device. Only the right earbud connects directly to the mobile device.
