I'm curious if anyone in and around these areas in Durban have found a good high speed provider.

I used to have Telkom DSL but eventually the copper got so corroded telkom abandoned support a few years ago. So I moved on to Neotel Wireless 8mbit which was around R1499pm.

I found my current wireless provider Wireless Internet - Airband, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Greytown, Kwazulu-Natal who offer me 15/8mbit uncapped no FUP for R1499.00. While their support is excellent I'd love to find something faster at the same or lower pricing.

If you live in Durban you know Fiber coverage is an absolute joke because of our "Anti-Fiber Mafia" o_O

Also in Merebank, yup connection is pretty great for wireless. Local game ping is around 30-40ms, international like R6 is 190-210ms.
Airband are pretty good, I just have a NEED FOR SPEED :p
Price for 15/8 R1499 but they offer lower speeds , its proper uncapped. I avg around 1TB a month they don't care, that's just from basic downloads/streaming etc

The copper at the ridge got so bad we can't even use basic analog phones, had to port them to VOIP.

If you are looking to sign up with them I'm pretty sure they offer a nice discount for you and me using my friends & family code.
