Hi

I just need some assistance on the build I'm deciding to go with.

Specs:

Cpu:i5 10600K (6Cores / 12Threads 4.8@ Ghz)
Gpu:Amd Rx 6600xt 8gb Vram
Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix B460 Gaming motherboard
Ram: Corsair Vengeance Rgb Pro 16gb ddr4 @3200mhz
Psu: Antec 700W
Storage: Ssd 256Gb
Hdd: 1Tb
Cpu Cooler: Tt UX100 argb 120mm cooler
Case: Argb Gaming Case

Opinions differ but I would say get a 500GB SSD minimum system drive and depending on what you want to store a 2TB+ HDD.

1TB runs out MUCH faster than you might think.

Don't get the 6600XT. underwhelming card to say the least

System looks fine ok

Only things I would change is minimum 512gb ssd
and that cooler won't cut it, don't skimp on the cooler.

3060ti rather than 6600xt : https://www.wootware.co.za/galax-ge...4-0-desktop-graphics-card-lite-hash-rate.html

Better power supply : DONT CHEAP OUT ON Power Supply I can tell you.

CPU cooler Im not sure also

Check some resellers here they will also help you out

Rather get a non k series cpu if you don't intend to upgrade the motherboard to a z490 or z590.

Also note that with the B series mobo there is a limit when it comes to memory speed supported depending on which cpu you pair it with.

Not familiar with 6600xt but should be fine for 1080p gaming

SSD is a bit small, also is it running sata or pcie (nvme), rather get the latter as they are much faster than sata.

The cpu cooler I'd swap for a cooler master hyper 212 or something similar.
Just check the CPU Cooler height clearance with your choice of case.

Yes, a decent psu with a 80 Plus efficiency. New they are expensive but perhaps check for a 2nd hand one that has some decent warranty left.

I'm running a 3080 with a 850w so check the psu requirements for a 6600xt and then factor in the rest of your components to determine your requirements

Thanks guys will probably check the forum out and see if I can get something better.
