Hey all
I've been out of the CUD game for a loooong time. 5 years at least. Back then 4k screens were very expensive and the technology has probably improved a lot, though I'm basically in the dark as to what the scene is like nowadays.
Before I do a deep dive into researching different models and specs and things, I just wanted to get some opinions on whether a 4k screen is worth the dough? I'm aware there are other options like 2k ultrawide and such, of which I know equally nothing. Is there perhaps something with better bang-for-buck than 4k?
Note: I'm not aiming to game at 4k (since I don't even game that much anymore) - it's more for productivity, having next-level display quality and maybe some photo editing etc. Also my budget isn't sky high, but I'd be willing to shell out if it's a worthwhile upgrade. For reference this is the monitor I have at the moment, which is pretty old now.
Cheers and thanks
