Price drop - to R3 500. Why? Cos I am taking the cable. You will still get the iPad and the plug point though. Just no cable.

Please help place this for me, in the model lineup.

What generation was the Air 2? And the new one, the entry level that also supports the Pencil? What generation is that?

Sincere question, btw! I'm starting to look for one for one of the kids, but haven't kept track of where the iPad's are these days, in terms of models.

Latest model is an iPad6

Good morning. This is the 5th gen. It’s one before the latest generation. You cannot use the Apple Pencil on the 5th gen.

Yeah. So effectively this replaced the iPad Air 2. It was actually introduced as a budget iPad and came in quite a bit cheaper than the iPad Air 2.

So you would have iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad 5 (this one).

Then iPad Pro 9.7, iPad Pro 10.5, iPad Pro 12.9 and towards the end of the year iPad x...
