Hi there people,

I am looking to sell the above mentioned two items as a bundle. I initially bought the two items as a cost effective option, as at that stage my previous motherboard conked out. As a 7th gen low cost combo, these two pair pretty darn well for the price, even for a budget gaming system. If you pair these with a decent GFX card, then you will have something that can play the latest games from low to medium settings, depending on the game.

If you are interested in buying this system, I can also offer 8gb of DDR3 1600mHz for an extra R400 on top of the R1600. And also as an added bonus, I will throw in my old chassis as well, at no extra charge. This will only apply if you buy the mobo, processor and RAM together.

I am adding in the chassis as free extra, as the power button does not work, but there is a work around for it that I used, whereby I swapped out the reset and power cables going from the chassis to the motherboard, and you can then use the reset button as the power button. It seems the power button switch gave way at some stage of the game...

Just so you know, the motherboard in particular is a really great piece of hardware for it's price, in my honest opinion. It has the following great features:

  • Supports 7th / 6th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors
  • Dual Channel DDR3/DDR3L, 4 DIMMs
  • 2-Way Graphics with Premium PCIe Lane (Crossfire)
  • PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 Connector with up to 32Gb/s Data Transfer (PCIe NVMe & SATA SSD support)
  • SATA Express Connector for up to 16Gb/s Data Transfer
  • 8-channel HD Audio with High Quality Audio Capacitors
  • Audio Noise Guard with LED Trace Path Lighting
  • Intel® GbE LAN with cFosSpeed Internet Accelerator Software
  • APP Center Including EasyTune™ and Cloud Station™ Utilities
  • GIGABYTE UEFI DualBIOS™ Technology
  • Support Intel® Small Business Advantage

Oh guys I forgot to mention, I have the original invoice from Rectron, which will hold your warranties in place, if you do decide to buy this. Shot :)
