Intel 12th Gen and Ram

Now I'm looking for a new Z690 ATX board. Seems ITX is just too compact for my requirements

Any ideas in the $450 range?

Hookay, DDR5 replacement kit received. Z690I DDR4 on the way.

I picked up a DDR4 GSkill kit for the DDR4 board so i can use it immediately and maybe for a NAS build later.

I think I will buy the MSI Z690 Unify to pair with the DDR5 6000 and the 12900KF

MSI Z690 Unify or Asus Z690-E?
Unify-X for 2 DIMMs or Taichi for 4. I would say Apex, but it's a toss up with how your board will perform and it's expensive. But yeah, if you can get a Taichi at the same price, then it's the go-to.

If you want strong OCing and you're never going to attempt 4 DIMMs, then Unify-X for sure.

Shot, the Apex is about twice the price of the Taichi or the Unify-X so won't be going for Apex.

Unfortunately Unifi-X is now out of stock so I'll probably go for the straight Unifi

Glad I waited, Unify-X came back in stock so I grabbed one. Should arrive next weekend
