Hoping the Carb community is diverse enough to help me out with my peculiar musical tastes.

Basically I'm an instrumental purist, I love tracks that are instrumental only unpolluted by anyone's voice no matter how angelic or otherwise it may be. So I'm hoping to find groups/performers or even just albums where by and large the performance is about finger dexterity and not vocal range or the supposedly deep deep meanings behind someone shouting at the top of their lungs.

Specifically I'm a fan of fast-paced fun upbeat music, the kind of stuff you want to tap your feet or or clap your hands to rather than headbang, or those majestic tracks some movies have that make you feel so small. They kind
So I was googeling riverdance earlier and guitar music but without much luck because every other track of the big name bands and performers according to Google had some lady working her vocal cords on it, and every 3rd track was something slower again. So I'm hoping I'll find some suggestions here.
To be very specific I was looking for riverdance or guitar music but since that's like to specific to get any sort of response I'm willing to even accept metal suggestions for instance, as long as it's just instruments doing the talking and nothing else , it all goes.

Let's see stuff I like to perhaps let you get a better understanding of what I'm after:
BIG fan of Rodrigo Y Gabriela, I own most of their stuff in live and studio versions. I absolutely love that percussion on the guitar thing like one also sees in the August Rush movie (kind of a modern instrumental Oliver twist type movie), I'd love another suggestion like that.
Actually I seem to like Mexican music in general
I like boere-musiek, but I've had my fill of it, looking for the same kind of thing but from up north somewhere (besides Germany as I'm also super familiar with that). So like rish riverdance/bluegrass/banjo/gypsey/hoedown type music.
I've been wanting to get into Jazz or Blues but again I can't seem to find anyone who consistently offers fast paced things and doesn't often degrade to slower stuff one might play in a bedroom if one was cheesy.
And then for majestic this likely doesn't help at all but I like stuff like the James Bond theme, Pirates of the Caribbean theme and the Battlefield 1944 theme so that's probably all once off stuff but if you know anyone that does stuff similar consistently that'd be be pretty cool (I know about Miracle of Sound already).
Piano Guys have some ok stuff.
Basically anything you can think of where you have serious concerns about the string instrument/s catching fire after the performance is over I'll probably want to know about it.

But as I said that may to be too specific so I'd just live to hear any pure instrumental (or at least 75% so) suggestions even if it doesn't fit with something I've said I'd like.

Local band that later turned vocal, Kidofdoom. They are/were, don't know if they still exist, later known as ISO or Isochronous.

If only you liked some electric guitar and heavy tones.

Finger style guitar: Ewan Dobson
This guy is godlike, just youtube him

Instrumental but heavy:
- Animals As Leaders
- Yngwie J Malmsteen

Try 2cellos, they cover a variety of song genres. Or piano guys, maybe even David Garret.

Thanks for the suggestions guys I'll be sure to check into them, I should have probably specified I was looking specifically not just for a track here or there but rather someone who I could buy a CD of. Yes I still use CDs.

If things like Animals As Leaders tickle your fancy you can also check out

Scale the Summit

otherwise

65daysofstatic - esp the No Man's Sky soundtrack they did.

The lack of bands on this list is shocking.

Explosions in the Sky
Mogwai (fuck yeah)
God is an Astronaut (double fuck yeah)
Maybeshewill
This Will Destroy You
And So I Watch You From Afar
Collapse Under the Empire
Do Make Say Think
From Monuments To Masses
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
If These Trees Could Talk
The Mercury Program
Mono
ISIS (Check out their album In The Absence of Truth and the single Altered Course)
Pelican (triple fuck yeah)
Red Sparowes
Russian Circles (quad fuck yeah)
Rosetta (does have a vocalist though)
Sigur Ros (just because)
This Is Your Captain Speaking
The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die (they have some decent indie/post-rock numbers + I like trumpets)

Here's a sample from Red Sparowes.

Jazz fusion from two of the greats. Might be too fast paced for you, the tempos are slow, but many notes per bar on most of the tracks.

One of the best Jazz guitarists ever. Master at improv. Slow to mid tempo. But might be a bit boring if you are not super into guitar playing.

You might dig this.(Jazz)

I know of and have heard every one of those bands. (y)
I pulled the Post-Rock list off of Wikipedia to restart my memory on what to suggest.
Cloudkicker (Ben Sharp) isn't listed on Wikipedia.
I found him with his debut The Discovery, Avalanche and Viceroy never cease to make me smile. (y)

Also, WHY DID I FORGET ABOUT POLPHIA, HOLY BALLS WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

@Mast3rBlast3r you gotta give Polyphia's new album New Levels New Devels a listen, super highly recommended instrumental math-rock.
