No, I haven't as this by the looks of it is only the command line, not the actual whole OS that I want to have running.
Already tried, didn't work, unfortunately.Plug out the drive with Windows.
Install it only on the drive you want to install it on using the Wizard.
Then plug the Windows drive back in.
Now flip in BIOS/EFI as you need to.
You need to install Ubuntu on the same drive as Windows, otherwise how will it know which to boot to.
Google Windows 10 and ubuntu dual boot.

I know right, this was my struggle the entire weekend!Hmm that doesn't make any sense.
Maybe you can explain when exactly are you seeing these errors? Screenshot? Explain step by step.
With a single drive in and choosing the Wizard option to do everything and consume the entire drive there should be no issue.
Does the drive you are installing to work with another OS? Maybe that's the issue.
Which Ubuntu version are you using?I know right, this was my struggle the entire weekend!
I'll take some time tonight to explain everything with pictures of the steps I'm doing etc. Yes I even tested it with W10 and it worked just fine. It's just ubuntu which is being difficult at the moment or maybe it MS which has it out for Linux lol.
