For molex you can use a jewlers screwdriver / sturdy paperclip to push the wings down. It also works to pull the wings out again. :)

Problem is I don't have and I need to do the psu side so I need really thin pieces.
Am just hoping that someone will have one I can borrow otherwise I'll have to buy one from Beyond Customs

I'd rather spend the 350 and get one from BC as I need it done ASAP.

damn, ok

well, you can't really say that is the "correct tool", because the staples do the correct thing for me, does that not make them correct tool for job?

my correct tool (not from Beyond though) broke like after only a few uses anyway

just thought we could save you since you are only doing it this once

Gonna give it a go tonight, if not then i'll just spend the money and get the tool.

I know there were a few people who has these on the forum but now nothing apparently,

I have a pin removal tool you can borrow, not that exact same one though. You can come pick it up from my workplace (remember you came to collect the CM 690 II case?)

I'll WhatsApp you the photos when I get home.

I usually just take a pop-rivet (aluminium and soft) and bang it flat on the anvil.
Instant flat pin removal tool. I lose them just as easily.

That is most certainly a good idea, if I had rivets and a anvil.
I managed to do one with paperclips, will see if I can get the second one done the same way.

Try using a small split pin, if you get a copper one, you can solder a convenient handle onto it as well...
