It's Prime Day!!!!

Starting at 9pm tonight SA time, although the amazon devices(Echo, Fire TV etc etc) are already live.

amazon Prime Day

Products with limited stock or time on special cannot be ordered unfortunately, quoting/invoicing/payment takes too long, however most items will be available.
Immediate EFT or credit card payment will be required to take advantage of the specials.
All quotes requested this evening will be replied to tomorrow morning, we'll get back to you asap.

Happy shopping!

EDIT: rather use the website than PM's, we'll be able to get back to you sooner: Quick Estimate - Scotts Shipping

Cos uncle Jeff needs more of your money!

As an interesting side note, 19 months after I started using my current bank card at every e-tailer on the planet(that's correct, we double checked) it finally got cloned somewhere. Got a strange transaction for R1.93 last night followed by 2 requests for an OTP for EUR2112! Luckily they were stupid and attempted to use the card at a secure retailer because that would've hurt!

Always knew this day was coming so services will not be impacted, happy shopping!

Just a heads up that we'll be closed on Aug 10th, I'm out the country again. Will get back to everyone asap so keep the quote requests coming in.

So... What would you all like the next blog post to be about? My 2 ideas are our security and privacy around your contact details etc or an unacceptable items list but hit me up with any other suggestions!

Hoping to get it up Monday.

Just a reminder we're going to be CLOSED tomorrow through to Sun 12th. Open again first thing Monday, have a great weekend all!

Hope you all had a good weekend! Back up and running, everyone should have been responded to either last night or this morning.

Scottie do you do 2 way Radios ie Importing? Looking to buy 20 off Amazon, but not sure on this.

Thanks

There's is currently an error on the site when attempting to submit the forms. The dev team is looking into it.

In the meantime please email info@scottshipping.co.za for any queries.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Our VAT registration will be effective from the 1st of September so there's going to be a big website update over the course of this week.

Shouldn't break anything but the site may behave a bit weirdly so just a heads up!

Quick note, due to our impending VAT registration all quotes and unpaid invoices will become invalid as of September 1st.

Items and shipments already in progress are NOT affected.

We will however happily re-quote for any items you may need!

Hi all!

New pricing for exports and local shipping is up on the website, this will be effective as of Sep 1st. Prices have gone up a bit unfortunately, which is why we delayed the VAT registration as long as possible.

Quick Estimate should be updated by middle of next week, it's a bit more involved on the back end to do.

All quotes and invoices issued today will expire at close of business.

VAT registration kicks in tomorrow so our invoicing and pricing structure will change.

All order currently in progress are NOT affected and this change will not adversely affect the client experience.

SME's rejoice! We will now be providing tax invoices for all transactions so you can claim back some of that delicious input VAT.

For the regular Joe's out there don't stress, prices have NOT gone up by 15%.

There's been a slight increase in local and export rates but that's just the yearly increase that kicked in end of June, we've been absorbing it till now.
