Importing a bike to South Africa

Hello, just like the title says. Has anyone ever imported a bike to South Africa or even a vehicle for that matter?
Is it worth the effort?
I had been looking to import the 2017 Yamaha R6 as I am having trouble finding them locally.

Not worth the effort. The shipping, taxes and paperwork is a pita.

Never imported one personally but have friends who were in the car scene importing Jap cars. I just remember them always complaining about constant issues with the process.
