This site AMD Flaws and the video which plays within (scroll down) is laughable.
I'm still not sure if this is a joke or not, as there's no way anyone can't put together what is being set up here.
* One of INTEL's chief engineering or R&D centres is in Israel, and this security company also hails from there.
* These new vulnerabilities come near a month before Ryzen 2000 series launch. (Ahead of Z390 most likely)
* CTS Labs YouTube channel has 3 subscribers and a MArch 10 2018 join date, has this one video and another one shorter one talking about these vulnerabilities.
* Nothign outside of this exists for CTS Labs. No history, no references nothing.

Not saying it's true or not for sure, but it does raise suspicion.
This is a smear campaign straight up.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but the YouTube picture or title picture for this video is interestingly stuck where it says, "Made by a Taiwanese company called ASMedia". This to me is just making public what was previously an unspoken thing in public as to ho makes the IMC for AMD, the Chipset etc.
Suddenly it just shows up for everyone to see. ASMedia - a company owned by ASUS that happens to have made the best Ryzen board around.
Who knows?

Comments in the YouTube video disabled as well.

I wonder if it's possible for a third party to do this, knowing full well the obvious conclusions we would come to is that it was at INTEL's behest :suspicion:

Hmm, this is nonsense. I'm becoming even more convinced it has nothing to do with INTEL (so much for thread title). I'd like to believe if they were behind this, they would try a little better than this. This is amateurish at best.

The researchers gave AMD less than 24 hours to look at the vulnerabilities and respond before publishing the report.
Extreme dick move, they're so fixated on advertising their shitty download valley netsec company they decided to ignore standard practice 90 days responsible disclosure.

Viceroy (known short sellers) are also involved in this. They released a report with CTS findings in it and claim that AMD stock is worthless. Too suspicious.

Some company is trying to paint a bullseye on AMD - it's just finding out who it is.

LOL.

This video was filmed in front of a green screen with actors. It is BLEARINGLY obvious. The one guy was reading off a teleprompter.

As far as the internet is concerned, CTS Labs does not exist. They're a ghost that came out of nowhere, Viceroy used their "findings" as the basis of their report and then the massive coincidence that they are based in Tel Aviv. Yeah, Intel is in Haifa.

I think Intel is getting a little scared of AMD's success. Their EPYC processors outperformed Intel equivalents in many benchmarks and tests. And they cost a fraction of the price.

Yeah, smear campaign. You can smell it.

Cheers :)

Not true. CTS labs have been around since 1918. They have been making lotion all along.

It's highly unlikely Intel would want to go a smear campaign as they have quite a few security issues on laptops and same for desktop so I'd imagine they would want to remain silent considering they did nothing for 6 months....

OR, the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities really hurt their business, AMD claimed that their processors are less vulnerable; never mind the fact their Zen processors have been a HUGE success, and Intel concocted this scheme to discredit them and protect their business.

Makes sense to me.

Cheers :)

They both have lawsuits against them and even if it's because Amd is successful it's for the better because if amd dies Intel can't sell cpu's.

On the other side of things cpu's arent Intels main focus. If I'm not mistaken the cpu division only is 50% or less of their business now.

Not sure if this link is legit but none the less why would Intel need to worry when big oem's say this.
