Hey all,

I've been handed a Lenovo Yoga laptop that the hinges are broken (because lets fold a laptop screen backward and hope it doesn't break after a while :) ). I'm looking for some ideas on how to DIY this into something useful. I'm not wanting to use it as a laptop again so I can separate the components

Do I remove the innards and rebuild it into a DIY housing?

Do I use just the PC portion without a screen as a file server?

So I pondered a while on the way forward, what to build, what materials to use etc. Ended up just repairing and fixing the hinges and mount points within the laptop shell. I loosened the hinges so it wouldn't undo my repair work. At least its in a useable state again for the time being and will consider proper DIY project with it at a later stage...

Such nice tips! My cousin has a Lenovo yoga and I'll this resource
