I want to get into CSGO who is willing to teach a NOOB

They should rename DM to Smurf Town. It becomes quite obvious when you drop into a "practice" as the people tend to screw around and spawn-rape (yes on DM - you move you die).

I find it extremely easy to solo que. Maybe you are selecting a specific map no one plays and prime is on or you are searching during the off peak times. I normally select cache, inferno, mirage, overpass with prime selected and find matches in less than 3 minutes.
 
There must be some issue somewhere. I solo que all the time and I have no issues finding a game. Unless my ping is all fucked up and I either don't find one or end up on some Russian server. Solo que I normally find a game within 3 minutes, maybe 5min max. If I don't get one in that time I just stop searching and then search again, but that happens very seldom.
 
So I played my 1st ever Compt , fortunately the people were nice to me hehe

Invite me to i don't play for rank only for fun (i don't have much play time thats why rank doesn't matter) as long as it's a fun match with little to no salt.

So, is CS still worth buying? xD Even if I don't play it that much I still see the value in the shooting range/target practice , as that will always be useful. I want to know if it is still worth sinking time into it with the possibility of a new CS emerging sooner rather than later?
 
What's with the hacking on csgo ?? I heard it while playing the game. I thought the servers are hack proof.
And who creates the casual match server's ? Is there a way u can save ur favourite server?

No game is hack proof. Some just have better anti cheat systems than others. Sadly csgo has a lousy one and because csgo is cheap you cab buy a new account when you banned eventually. Overwatch has probably one of the best systems atm for anticheat.

Its the main reason why i stopped jamming csgo now. Moved onto other games :D

CSGO’s Overwatch seems decent enough. Pretty sure hackers get banned quickly once reported.

There are a few cases where spin bot accounts stay active for 6 months. I had a friend tracking a guys account. It eventually got banned after a year

Csgo overwatch sucks. You overwatch at 32 tiks and it gets pros banned by noobs. Like my brother, His global account got banned and both his new accounts. They don't add rank to overwatch and novas report you as hacking

Sure, there’ll always be those cases. But in general I’ve heard it does a decent job as long as the community reports the hackers in game. Same as Treyarch. Also very active on the manual bans.

Seems these guys don’t wanna spend the big cash on BattleEye and Easy Anti-Cheat.

I'm also considering the same. Even though I get regular messages that players that I've reported have been banned, it seems like the hacking CSGO is getting worse. A lot worse.

Do you mind mentioning some of the games you're playing now?

Guild wars 2, i did try star citizen out the other day but feels a bit worse than when i last played it. I'll probably have to spend a bit of time in that to get the feel for it again or wait for the next update. Fps wise i tried overwatch but it didnt do much for me.

Ive seen it but sadly on the competitive & skill side i still prefer csgo.... Ill play csgo again when i end up in europe [emoji14]

Here's the thing I find with CS:GO: you wanna get good, just put in the hours. MG @ 1000 hours, LE @ 5000 hours. Just based on people I know.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Salty people burn out and leave.

I was Lem at a 1200 hours and i started from silver 2 xD Also had a few times where a teammate was in opposite teams ts and informing exactly where we were. This was at le rank. Happened 3 times rather frustrating. I also tried billo but some of the games the skill gap is massive and sometimes its not too bad. Its also not always busy.

I played lastnight 10 minutes and seriously people fighting with snowballs just 1 step away from me uninstalling the game and never looking back !

There was some random chic shouting " dont be rude its so cute to snowball fight " I commented WTF and she got hyper i got satisfied and left game :) .

I was playing too on the casual servers. Was pretty fun and the community is friendly and entertaining enough with a sad troll here and there over voice chat
