Hi guys, I've dealt with quite a few people in the last few days with regards eBucks sales(I always pay first due to 0% trader score). Myself and the user Marhum(Supposedly Johan Lombard) according to our chat agreed on an amount of 11c/eB. There is a whole Whatsapp chat that I can provide the proof of last during last night as well as the transaction from my side to him.

I've payed him slightly more than 50% (R1240.00 for the full amount of 22500 eB, as once the eBucks clear then I would settle the balance. The eBucks never cleared to my account and I can't get a hold of him to find out what's happening.
I'm going to the bank soon to reverse the amount hopefully. If you have an email I could send the Whatsapp chat to as proof of him scamming me, I'd be happy to provide that info. Please help me.

Scammed??? Im not even going to respond on this. Tell me real quick. Why do you ask questions after you already made your decision about what you think? Dont you think it works the other way around.

You try to find out whats going on then take action. Not the way you did this and you know what im talking about.

Have you received 50% Deposit "R1240.00" for the full amount of 22500 eB ?

Do you plan on keeping it or what ?
 
Listen, I'm not going to discuss anything here. This man already took action... So whats the point in this... Shouldnt you sort it out here before running to the police.

No sir sorry.... Youre not going to do damage first and then ask questions..... Ill take this matter forward and i dont care what happens here. All i can say is Denis.... Buddy........... Not sure why you just waited alittle bit longer. Then this all would have been for nothing...

@Marhum Please explain to me what is going on here.

Did you receive 50% deposit from @DeMenace:-) for your ebucks, and now what is going on ?
 
@Cxb3r Apologies for being quiet, at this stage I haven't received any eBucks at all in exchange for the money I have payed. R1240.00 to be exact was payed to @Marhum and at this stage no eBucks have been received.

What I suspect is that @Marhum is sour because I have called him out to be a scammer. He has shown nothing to the contrary that his side is clean and that he has good intentions towards myself.
As before mentioned, I do have all proof that I've made the payment to him and he has not came to the fore with his end of the deal.
He couldn't even do the right thing and reimburse me my money. How many days does @Marhum need to bring his end of the deal.

I've dealt with plenty of people on Carbonite, all other deals have ran smooth. I have never come across this kind of person before. Someone who takes advantage of my willingness to pay upfront for a product I am yet to see.
It is ironic that @Marhum has been given plenty opportunities to give his side of the story but fails to provide anything to the contrary.

All I can say at this stage is that I am disappointed and will be much more careful in the future dealing with people.

I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of a Bad Deal thread. It's meant as a platform to resolve issues between parties for deals on Carb that haven't gone smoothly. And, to be fair, from the buyer's POV paying a deposit and then not receiving the goods and not being able to get hold of a 0 iTrader member is the dictionary definition of a rough deal.

As far as I can tell there hasn't been any "damage" since the buyer has not yet left you negative/neutral feedback, however, the way you're responding to the thread isn't doing your forum rep a whole lot of good IMHO.

Why not just reply normally, clear your name, and get this resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible, thereby undoing the supposed "damage"?

Why do you have a feedback rating of zero if you've dealt with plenty of people on Carbonite before?
 
@DeMenace:-) have you already gone to open a case with SAPS? If you have then you shouldn't expect an answer here if there is a charge pending.

@ViVceptioN , that is a fair question. I ONLY buy eBucks and nothing else, as far as I understood you cannot get an iTrader score from virtual currency trades. Feel free to go through my profile, the feedback has only been good.

@TheJudge , no I have not been to the SAPS yet to open a case. I've been cooperative with information required from Carbonite up until now.
I was hoping that @Marhum would've done the right thing by now and uphold his end of the deal.
 
@Cxb3r , the situation still stands at this stage. The return of my money or half of the eBucks has NOT been forthcoming. I'll cut my losses at this stage and move on.

I must add, the only part that I'm grateful for is for the fairness from Carbonite employees towards the situation.
I'm also happy that I did not keep quiet whilst being threatened by @Marhum and if I could help protect future victims from this scammer, then I'm happy.
