Hi Guys

I decided to paint my ZOTAC GTX 1070 AMP! with Rustoleum Gloss White.
Taking apart the card voids warranty according to Zotac so since I did this anyway when I changed the thermal paste I decided to void the warranty even further a year later.
First I washed the back plate and the 2 pieces of the shroud with soap and water .I used 2 coats of grey primer on the back plate and the metal piece of the shroud then 2 coats of gloss white on the metal piece of the shroud and 3 on the back plate. I also masked off the stripes before the final coat of white so that they would remain grey.

Blurry before and after pics below:)

Considering all Ive painted before were some fans I think I did an okay job with only small imperfections here and there.
What do you guys think?

This card looks familiar :D

It looks waaaay better after the paint. The whole setup looks great congrats man (y) looks really nice
Didn't think you'd recognize it after the makeover!

Not a bad idea at all. I am not a fan of the Yellow on the Zotacs. Might do the same thing to my 1070 AMP

Removing the cooler doesn't void warranty. They don't have warranty stickers. (trust me, im a friendly cookie), But repainting the whole GPU does :ROFLMAO:

Looks awesome by the way

Depends how brave you are,

add 1 drop of tabasco for a rollercoaster of a time

I see Reeven cpu cooler. What model is it? I have the justice and It's bloody good.
Excellent job btw

Just FYI Vaseline works wonders if you want to mark sections where you want the paint not to stick. So you can, for instance, draw a picture with Vaseline or fill lines with it and when the paint dries you just wipe it off.

Its a Reeven Ouranos with a Corsair ML140 fan and a Phanteks Halos RGB fan ring.
It does the job well and with this fan its quiet as well
