Hey guys,
Just want you guys to be aware, if you preordered the Mate 20 Pro, or got it close to the release date you may be infected with the gluegate screen issue that has been appearing for a few % of users.
Huawei will indeed replace your phone if you're experiencing it, it seems to happen with the models that come with the LG display, but this isn't confirmed.
I am super unlucky however, I got a replacement and the replacement had the same issue, hopefully, the third time will be the charm.
How can you check if you're infected?
Set your phone to the dark interface under System > Battery, set the brightness on low, and go into your dialer or Netflix, either will work.
The earlier stages will be very faint, but it does, in fact, get worse.
If you want to check which panel you have, you can download an app called Device Info HW, and under the touch screen part under General it will tell you either LG or BOE
