Hi all,

First time dealing with this and have no idea where to start, so I thought I would turn to you folks.
Basically my Peugeot 107 key is slowly falling apart and I don't have a spare. Both buttons are now funked and I have this dreadful feeling of losing the only key I have.
So how would I go about getting another 2 keys to replace and have as a spare?

Any ideas?
Thanks!

There are a bunch of companies that make keys, just google around your area. Only thing is they normally cost a fortune. It was over 4k for a new key for my Audi and 1.9 for a new key for my Citroen

Wow that is painful. Was that just for the key? I was hoping for the electronics as well.

I know of a business that will be able to help you, i bought a new key cover for me and my wife's car. For cheap. bought 1 for her hyundai i30 and 1 for my opel corsa. I forgot the name, just give me a sec.

They wont be able to help with the 2x new keys though. That will likely cost a fortune...

Also looking for a Honda key cut. I have an extra electronic part, from a different Honda, which I can always pair with the car if needed, I just need the physical key cut.

The issue isn't the covers anymore sadly. The actual button for the lock has broken off somehow. As in, the physical soldered switch has popped off somehow haha.

But I'll take any leads!

Sometimes it is cheaper to get another lock installed that comes with new keys.

Worth asking around on the Peejou owner groups on facebook. Maybe a scrapped one somewhere have both keys and lock mechanism etc.

Got it - Elektrans.co.za

After glancing through their website, they might be able to help with everything. I dunno, but good luck. that is a shit problem to have.

edit* - ok they might not be able to help you.

That's for sure haha. Thankfully there's still the physical key that works but game over if I lose that one.

I have used Drive Sure in Cape Town twice.

In the last year they did a new remote key cut and code, plus a new spare for my girlfriend's Yaris for somewhere around ~R1500, including call out.

They previously did a new key for the ex GF's Rentault... which is a weird card thing... this was ages ago.
They cut and coded this without an existing key though.
If I remember the numbers correctly, Renault quoted R20k+ and they did it for around R2k.

Just note, they don't use OEM keys.
The keys aren't the remotes aren't the same quality as some of the OEM remotes.
Haven't had any issues with the Yaris key though... haha the GF thinks it was a nice upgrade from a normal key to a flip key type thing.
