How quick will they fix 3060 mining?

I know I'm a mining noob but I really don't understand the appeal of the 3060 at 50Mh/s when my 1060 is doing half that at less than a third of the price...and that's before you take power consumption and card depreciation into account.
4 year old 1060s are going for around 4k with no warranty on carb and you can get a brand new 3060 for around 10k and which uses less power...

3060 = lower power consumption and better resale value. Also a 3060 is much easier to tweak than a 1060

You can get more more hashing power out of less cards so a smaller footprint, less cooling, management etc.

The price of the 1060 now makes your resale point valid. When this bubble pops, the R10k~R11k 3060s will be going for R8k max? Probably closer to R7k? So the card actually cost you R3k, maybe even R4k.
The 1060s that sold at "normal" prices might go for R500 to R1000 less than they were purchased for. The R4k 1060s on the other hand...massive liability.

Yeah I was looking at overall power consumption, not watts/hash. My bad.
Also my outlook is skewed because I paid pre-stupid prices for my 1060.

Guys keep in mind so far only working 8x or higher speed pcie and monitor attached. But you can use hdmi dummy plug. Nvidia has pulled the drivers from the site, but everyone has it by now :p

LOL not for much longer. 3060's will be 20K now :ROFLMAO:
