The inverter is free when you buy the batteries, reason being that some of the inverters have had issues in the past and dont want to take the risk in selling it. The system is currently installed in my house and can do a demonstration for you as well. I can also source you a better inverter or get better pricing from the suppliers i am buying my new system from.
The system runs my whole house for around 6 - 8 hours without power depending on the load. These are not cheap batteries, they are the real deal with a 12 year design life before their capacity starts to drop. Batteries have never bee taken past 50% DOD and would have more than 700 cycles left (1 cycle is defined as 1 full discharge and charge up again).
