Trying to transfer ETH from Nicehash to Luno and I'm getting
Warning! High Network Fee due to current blockchain conditions. Try again later, to save on fees.
No kidding; they want 34% of the transfer amount :ROFLMAO:
It's been like this for months now.

I've tried reading up to educate myself but it essentially just says "It's busy so it's expensive". How do I get around this?

I saw a tweet yesterday that said Eth gas fees went up 10x as well in the past few days. The gas fees are insane on Eth - I don't think their coming updates will help as well. Making the coin deflationary pushes up the price but I think projects will move from ethereum because of the costs.

Not sure about nice hash. But hope you can get your coins transferred soon!

Hmm yeah. I'm debating transferring ETH to something else on Nicehash and transferring that to Luno instead, but I don't know what coin would work out cheapest.

When I used NiceHash, I found that Sunday afternoons were the best time to transfer out.

it also depends on how much you are transferring. If you are doing a really small amount then the fees seem like a lot compared to a larger transfer.

I was testing something on another exchange a few days ago and I was charged R104 to transfer just over R300. Then I was charged the same amount, R104 to transfer R35k.

I usually use change over to Litecoin then move it out

The statement below is correct. Transfers during a weekend (and especially a Sunday) are very cheap.

My Sunday fees are typically less than R1 for a R600 transfer (although, this was for a Bitcoin transfer. I'm not sure if it is the same for ETH).

The exchange should have all their fees listed on their websites shouldn't they? Luno has theirs listed?

If you are mining ETH and want to avoid high GAS fees, then there are alternatives available. I created a thread in the Mining Page.
