Help with Ryzen Setup

Update:

Changed out the gpu for a 1070 and it made no difference. In fact, fps dips as low as 40fps using the 1070!!

Conclusion: it's either the cpu, mobo or software related.

Now I will have to source another AM4 mobo to test my cpu and see if it makes any difference.

Okay, have you checked for malware? Bitcoin miner installed via chrome or something.. Try adwcleaner

Tried everything this morning on a brand new Windows with a different SSD. So definitely not Malware or any Virus related issue...

Also,. roll back GPU driver to 399 or pre 399.

Play your game in a window, with Task Manager above it, or put Task man on a 2nd screen. When you get these dips, check your CPU freq.

Also, grab Snappy Driver Installer and let it update all your drivers.
