CPU bracket

Just make sure you get the right one.
AM3 and AM4 has slightly different hole spacings I believe.
I did not know this...

I have an x470 board and Ryzen 5 3600.
It was bought pre-built so don't have the mobo box. It had an AIO cooler in it which gave up.

So now I need a CPU bracket to install a fan cooler.
Are you saying that the bracket for am3 and am4 are different?šŸ™ˆ

@ARKSEZA

I have a friend that have ordered one of these from him and was very happy. I think this is what you need.

On the TT site it says "UX100 includes all-in-one back-plate is compatible with all the latest Intel and AMD CPU socket."

Assuming it has a different backplate/mounting for AM4 you wouldn't need (Can't find an actual manual on the site)

I do have some spares though, R85 for shipping and they're yours if needed

Thanks @Techfox

I did see that, but when I watched a few unboxings, I saw that it comes with the necessary for Intel processors, but for AMD it expects that you have the retention bracket from your mobo kit.

I couldn't find the manual eitheršŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Thanks bud, will let you knowšŸ‘

I think @Techfox's suggestion is the best offer. Nothing beats the original bracket. Then you know it's compatible. And it's sturdy. Someone else somewhere commented that they tried a 3D-printed one and it broke.

Thanks @goldfritter , really appreciate the advice!
I'm been out of the PC build game for a while and I basically feel like a noob againšŸ™ˆ

You're free to have this one I printed.
It might break, but it's free, so what you got to lose? Other than a drive to JHB.
