Hi everyone hopefully some can help me, so here here is my problem.
turned off my PC removed my GPU for a sale, came back home after an hour or two pushed the power button but my PC wasn't getting any display, had already plugged it in to the onboard after a couple of tries of pushing the power button and restarts it finally displays but with an error message saying It failed to boot because of overclock that had been (I had nothing overclocked in my system) so ok I went into bios reset to default hit enter and when I restarted same thing happened only this time it never displayed again, tried everything I could think which eventually led me to taking my my mobo out to a friends place and testing all components and and there I found that everything worked but the display so I figured the mobo is dead, so he then leant me an old spare mobo he had, so I took that put it into my PC only for today I'm using the PC when all of a sudden PC shuts down and no display again, and now that I think of it the when I first powered on the PC in the morning I wasn't getting a post till I unplugged the PSU and restarted the system, so something is definitely wrong here I hope somebody can help me fix this

Sounds like a faulty cpu or psu.

What speed is your ram?
Have you tried a different cpu in your first motherboard and the new one you just got?

Yes I swapped out everything on the mobo no luck..
The second mobo is running a core2quad and seems to be working now after swapping out battery and resetting the CMOS but it don't seem to be working for the gigabyte 1155 mobo
