Ok here goes.
I have a old p67/i7 3770/8gb/120gb ssd with 5 x 10603gb and a Z270 msi krait/G4400/8gb ddr4/120gb ssd with 4 x 1060 3gb/6gb setups running windows 10 pro with nicehash. Had no issues with it for the past 4ish months but after Friday night Windows update, the machines is fucked. It just picks up 3 cards and shows the other 2 as not functioning. Then you have to dissable and re-enable but then nicehash/winminer/minergate all crash within a minute or 2.
Today i decided to do a fresh windows install on the 1st machine. Plugged out all the pci-ex risers and installed with onboard. As soon as i plug in the risers, the machine goes nuts. Any idea why? Must i try an Linux OS for mining? Any advice would be appreciated.
