So long story short. I have a Ncase M1. Was not happy with the previous owner respray job of the case, so i decided to redo it. Was giving the idea to sand blast the panels which i had my brother in law do. but now the panels are warped/bent out of shape. I have tried to straiten them my self but i am not getting anywhere.

Anyone one here that can please help me get these fixed, willing to pay for you time? Would be bonus if you assist in powder coating too...

eish, gl

warping is a bit more difficult I think than if it was a normal bend, since that piece expanded due to the heat from the sand blasting

what have you tried and where is the problem? like towards middle of panel?

wonder if you could panel beat it 🤔

Yeah basically mainly towards the middel. I am not sure what can be done. I tried to fix the top panel as it was the least warped by forcing it on the case and leaving a heavy weight on it overnight. It seemed to help but not much.

I take it just sitting a bunch of weights on it wouldn't flatten it out over time? I doubt given it's metal but yeah.

Got a Fractal Design R6 recently which has a mesh top with a solid clip panel, trying to take that off resulted in me bending the pieces rather heavily, so this thread might help me too xD

GL otherwise, can't think of much that'll work for this.

I tried the heavy weight thing, seemed to work a little but not 100%. Will try adding more weight and see haha.
Biggest issue the front panel. It to narrow now to fit in place, and its thick so really hard to hard to try and bend it straight.

Bump tried a few things no luck. Anyone that can help please give me shout. Or if you can 3d print new panels please let know.

Yeah that is going to be a big mission... would say find an old school panel beater who knows aluminium and try your luck there, there are machines that can flatten parts perfectly but you would need to remove the studs first. Then if you are doing that you might as well just get new sides cut at your local laser place. Free CAD Designs, Files & 3D Models | The GrabCAD Community Library Just know our finishing here won't match up the oem panels and you may find that the cheapest easiest path all along was getting a new set from overseas. Interested to see some pics as well!

Thanks for the info. Starting to seem it would be better to get rid of the case and just buy something new.

I have dealt with this before. The best advice I have for you is to cut a hole for a 120mm fan, this will relieve some pressure.
Or you need a professional to use polished slapping tools on it.
Show us some photos :)
