Help needed on Nicehash mining

Hi Guys

Setting up mining Rig for a friend.

5 RX 580GB
4 RX 570 8GB

so let me get to the problem, for some reason i have no idea way, after installing everything i only get like 7mh/s on cards for Dagger and i am not sure at all why this is happening, has this happened to any 1, or any 1 have idea on how to fix this.

Need to be on Nicehash for now.

Have you set the cards to compute mode?

7MH/s is like 1/4 of what they should be getting.

Have you made sure, one by one, in Radeon software under "Global Settings" "Advanced" there's an option which says I think Workload set that to Compute rather than Graphics. Have to do each card one by one this way it's a pain. Could be that although such low performance... so there could be other things compounding the problem as well. Like.... are you running stock firmware or did you flash each card with a mining-specific BIOS? That'll take you from 20-odd to 30 MH/s right there, then you can push it closer to 32MH/s with tweaking, but to get there from where you are at 7 MH/s I'm not so sure.

Getting 7MH/s from RX580 8gbs,,,,, dunno don't want to be bearer of bad news but your cards might have issues. I mean I'm getting 24MH/s out of RX570 4GB cards.

Just for extra info, are you running Nicehash Miner under Windows, Nicehash Quick Miner, or booting into Nicehash OS from a stick?

If running under Windows again you can make sure you have more than ample swap file configured... like at least 32-40gb, but again not sure it's going to make that monumental a difference when your baseline is 7MH/s.

Try enabling above 4g decoding or mining mode on your mobo's bios settings. Also a good idea to download latest or best drivers.

Hi all, update so when using Simple Miner all Cards running 30mh/s stable no issues. Do you guys think it is a Windows/Drivers Compute issue thing? @raskad87 Mining Mode is on Biostar TBC250.

Any specific reason you aren't using something like Hiveos?
Windows is not fun when it comes to mining.

needed to enable mining/compute mode. Glad it's sorted

Might have be also just power draw, as each card only 1 PCI-e power connected. But all good now using Nicehash OS so far.
