Help - Need to get my domain name!!!

I purchase a new business and we have a website as well as an email address running at the moment.

I require assistance in transferring the domain to me, this will allow me control of our email accounts and update the website that was created in 2007. This also means I require a brave soul on this forum to assist me the website as well.

you basically need to contact the company the domain was bought through such as godaddy etc. and ask them to transfer it.

Why would you need a brave soul, just contact your hosting company to do this. If you don't have a hosting company then sign up with one like axxess/afrihost or mweb or godaddy or whoever and they can do this for you. If you are doing self hosting and don't know how to do a domain transfer then you should maybe consider finding a hosting company for now while you learn about self hosting (you still have to cover things like routing).
