[Wanted] Help moving a bed

I am not sure if this is in the right place but not sure where else to post.


Item Wanted: Looking for someone in or close to the Randburg Bromhof area with a bakkie/flat bed truck that can assist me with moving my double-sized bed. the location is 2km away from me so it's not even far. My buddy and i will load and unload.

Moving date is the 28th of August (upcoming Saturday)

Packaging Essential: No

Desired Age: Not needed

Location: Bromhof

Willing to accept a shipped item: Yes

Ballpark/Budget Amount: R200-R300

Saw them but it's like R500 for 1.7km..

May not be what you are looking for but if no one responds here, you could try visiting nearest Builders warehouse (or some such) and there are bound to be some bakkies around the place. Chat to one of them and chances are you will get someone to help out for 350 or so. Visit earlier this week (and not on the day itself) so that they will have assured income for one trip so win-win both ways. If more than one bakkies available, try to get one that has branding (and phone number) on the vehicle - generally more reliable as per own experience.

p.s. If no bakkies, try chatting to people at the exit (even security) - they are bound to know people who do such business.
