Good afternoon all

So, I have the following machine which is acting dead, and wanted to see what is salvageable.

So far, I have a store that will charge me about R150 to check and see, but I am hoping someone would have the time and spares to assist me.

CPU: i7 7700
MEM: 16 GB DDR4 2500MHz
BOARD: Gigabyte B250M-D3H LGA-1151
PSU: Standard 500W

I have confirmed that Both the RAM and the PSU is working , and would like to know if anyone in the area can recommend a place to check the remainder (all my existing equipment is like 5 generations behind lol). Has a Motherboard that I can see if the CPU is working.

If the CPU does work and the Motherboard is on Offer, Willing to purchase it

Thanks in advance

UPDATE !!!

So managed to take it to a "technical store" to see what is working and what not.

They have told me that the RAM is working.

However, they cant resolve the motherboard or CPU issue because they dont have another board that matches that chipset.

All I want to know is the board or the CPU still working (and Paid them already)>

Any Takers

Regards

P

So Latest Update

I have a quote from a store to test the CPU for like R250.

Which is not so bad, but this is after another store did the test and told me they dont have 7th GEN motherboards on hand to test my PC (could have said that before)

LOL, are there cave paintings in the 'store'?

Ask nicely and I am sure a CARB member will help testing
