Fellow carbies,

Please help a noob out.
recently decided to replace our laptop storage with a ssd as it was slow as Ferarri at a GP event.

Now this is the laptop in question PB easynote TE11HC
current hdd at 500gb and ssd at 512gb, i would like to clone everything along with the OS.

is this possible? what do i require to complete this? the ssd is from TeamGroup GX2 512GB SATA 2.5" Solid State Drive

1. Macrium Reflect Free
2. Ease US Free

Put SSD in a external enclosure and clone. Swap drives once complete.

Just used Macrium Reflect Free a week ago, worked like a champ

One thing to note. That shitty laptop only has 2gb of ram?
Once the ram is used up you end up using the SSD as swap file.

Swap files destroys SSD's like Mochachos destroys my asshole.

already has 8gb ram installed

Last time I did that, the freeware I used (one of the usual suspects) didn't align the partition to 4K... Is that still a thing, or do they all do it now?
