Any Haval owners on here? H2 H6 H6C or the sort?

Would appreciate some owner input/comments/complaints.
What I've found on MyBB has been rather wide ranging in opinions.

For starters, from what I've seen of the infotainment, and Carb being tech oriented, that area is lacking...

Subbing. The reviews I've seen of the cars are very positive, sans fuel economy so far. I'm specifically interested in the H6 C.

Drove the H6 I think. Was pretty good to be honest. Issue would be parts, after service etc....

2 in my office park. Both have some niggles in them. Owners seem to be happy

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. After sales service has been lacking according to the owners

Friend was interested in a Haval, I quickly changed her mind when I showed her the NCAP safety ratings. You're pretty much sure to lose a limb with a head in collision.

Saw a H6 yesterday oddly enough , seriously not a bad look thing , a guy at work had the H2 he loved his apparently he said it shared parts with another large engine manufacturer but I zone out if I hear mechanic talk  so not sure who it was.

Most of the new models have a 5-star NCAP Safety Rating.

EDIT: Not Euro, but same tests.

No only the Asian one. Well the 2014 H4 test didn't end well. Can't seem to find much about the H6, maybe it's better?

I checked just now - the H2, the H6 and the H6C (new models) all scored 5 stars. I've seen their specs as well, it's really not bad. In the past few years they've really been picking up. Check our the Car magazine's comparison between the H6 C and the new Kia Sportage. IIRC the guy's words are "I can't figure out why the Sportage is R70k more expensive".

Just did a little browse on the H6 and I have to admit it is a nice looking car. It won the first C-NCAP 5 Star award.

That being said, please don't plan on having a head on collision, with any car.

Correct. The only thing, and I mean the only thing that's currently keeping me from buying an H6 C is the fuel economy. It's heavier than a double-cab Ford Ranger on fuel - and that's saying something. Sure, it does 140kW and 310Nm, but at that economy it's a bit of a joke.

A freind was looking into getting H1, went for test drives and loved it. Right up until they met up with a family member who has had major rust issues after just 1 year. Granted this was very close to the beach, but the 4 year old corolla in the same location had no such issue.

Majority of the Chinese brand taxi's I've noticed that rust happens quite a bit quicker down here.

Drove behind one on my way home just now, I could not tell if it looked more like a Quashqai or a Rav4. These things are hard.

Whats wrong with a nice 2nd hand vehicle with a bit more reputation?

Two guys here at work have these,
They are quite nice, for the price i was impressed
