Has nicehash shit the bed again? Withdrawals disabled

I got out and stopped mining days ago. Inadvertently but wow. I guess timing favoured me what the hell. I hope you guys don’t get screwed over.

According to site, say they were almost hacked again

ON another R150 note, I tried to withdraw that R150 mid last week simply to go through the process as I was testing out the features and platform and it wouldn't let me touch anything, at least not into ZAR.

After they open wallets, people will rush to transfer funds out and nicehash will make a killing on fees they charge.

You can't withdraw from Nicehash to ZAR... you need to withdraw your BTC to Luno (or wherever else) and sell for ZAR there.

Would make sense xD Regardless I did try withdraw into Luno and it just wasn't having it xD

Anyway, I hope this serves as a reminder for people to never leave their coins in NiceHash. If you want to HODL do it in Luno or elsewhere.

Im sorry but Luno is also an exchange and no safer, if not, more dodgey than NiceHash. NH are subject to frequent attack because they are a MASSIVE company with huge volume of crypto. They paid every cent back of the last hack, and, if you all just let them do their thing without freaking out on Carb after 2 seconds, you would have noticed it’s merely security protocol to prevent withdrawals after an attempt , and shortly thereafter withdrawals were active again. But yea, South African miners 🤦🏻‍♂️
