GTA 5 Online - Carbonite

Hi all

I'm in the process of launching an unofficial Carbonite GTA 5 server. If anyone is keen to try it, join and play

Download FiveM (The client that will let you join): FiveM
Install the client. Once it opens you can login to SocialClub.
Then go to Direct connect and use the following server IP : PORT -- 185.239.239.220:32018
Done!

You must have a legit GTA 5 ...

I'm still figuring out the how's and to's and will be expanding it as we go along! It's going to be a little community and I'm adding many roleplaying mods for people to do jobs, own houses, etc... I think this is gonna be awesome

I'll probably end up changing the engine tonight to a more advanced roleplaying thing, as the current one seems a bit dated and modding is limited then as everyone is using the newer advanced engine.

so this will be hosted locally ? I Do own GTA V on steam but never really played it online. The lag was to bad and i did not like it. This would be great to play if its local. I Might download the game again.

So i played last night.
I don't get it, am i missing something.
What is the point of the server?
I know it was just me online but didn't look like you could buy guns had no clue what i was supposed to do.
Not much fun at all.
On GTA V online i have cars, houses, offices and a shit load of guns now i have to start with nothing!

Busy doing a lot of testing and modifications, issues that we had where cars disappear after logout even if you own the car, cars can now be recalled with /pv
Mechanic cant repair, you can now repair with /fix and clean with /clean
Characters now maintain appearance, it was resetting ur char customizations.
Car mods now save as well, was giving default cars after logout.

Current issue is shops dont sell items. So you will essentially die of hunger/thirst
Want to make cars lockable - so you will have a key in your inventory.

As you can imagine pumping hours into make this a nice server for the community. Unfortunately it doesnt come 100% out of the box, actually far from it.

Played for ~45 minutes or so, roaming, stealing, killing... got a job, but I want to make more money. Once you have more people on the server more regularly, the fun can start.

By the way, which version of what are you running on the server? I would like to see what the list of commands are.

we're trying to figure it out for ourselves lol, the documentation is very poor... I'm making a list and once the basics are established I'll release a nice list

I've watched a bunch of "DOJ" videos on youtube, it seems whatever RP server they're using works really well.

The first thing that would be nice, for now, is a command to replenish food/drink, and NPC cops so that I can rob stores

Keep us updated, I'm really keen to continue playing.

Yup We, got someone helping me with testing... It's quite a process to get everything nice and smooth - they obviously have people scripting for their servers

Please include NPC's all over the place in yours, pretty please. It's very boring without them.

I log in every now and then. Kinda bored of it because I don't have enough players for a 4 man heist. Maybe if there's more

Yea that can be frustrating seeing as the public lobbies have bunches of trolls in them.

Don't get me wrong though. About 3 weeks ago I was putting 3 hours a day still. It just got very boring, very quick since I now own all businesses (fully upgraded), almost all vehicles that I want, all in game weapons (except explosive rounds) and I've done the doomsday heist twice over. I suppose when the next big update hits (in Dec) then I'll be back

I'd like to have a server with limited police presence, or highly configurable public servers. I'd like to go on a rampage with some buddies and just have random fun.

I've watched a lot of RP server gameplay, and it does look like a lot of fun, but I haven't found one that matches the videos I've seen (and the servers on the videos are closed to the public, unless they want to add more people).

Lol the last time that I played properly, I was making around 720k per hour because of a double RP & cash reward that R* was doing
